What is your Cancellation policy?

If you cancel 14 or more days from your arrival date it is a 10% fee, with the remaining balance back to you.

If you cancel within 7-13 days prior to your arrival date the cancellation fee is 50% with the remaining balance refunded.

If you cancel in 6 days or less there is no refund.

What happens if we cancel because it rains?

What is check in? What is Check out?
For campsites check in and check out is as follows:

Monday through Saturday it is at noon

Sundays it is at 3pm
For Cabins, Check out is 11am. Check in is at 3pm.
Do your sites have water and electric?
Yes, all of our sites have water and electric.
We have 20 sites that have Sewer/50 amp electric, they are sites 401-420.
Do sites have sewer?
We have 20 sites that have sewer/50 amp electric (Sites 401-420). The rest can use the dump station available on property. It is free to use for those who are camping here. If you need to use the dump station and are not camping here it is $10.
Can I bring my golf cart?
We allow golf carts for medical necessity only. We will require proof of insurance. If they are brought along camping, the individuals with the medical necessity will be the only person using it to get from point A to point B. Anyone abusing this policy will be asked to park the cart and will no longer be allowed to drive it.
Can I put a tent up on my site?
Yes, as long as you are within the site lines. One tent and one trailer are allowed on a site or you can put two tents.
How many adults are allowed on a site?
For Basic, Lakeview and Lakefront and Full hook up sites, the site fee includes two adults, with up to four adults allowed. Each additional adult will have to pay $10/adult per night and register at the Camp Store when arriving. Anyone found in violation of this policy will be asked to leave.
The Cabin fee and the Lakefront Double Site includes four adults with the nightly fee, with a max of six allowed. Each additional adult is $10/adult per night and will need to register at the office.
Is there a minimum number of nights I have to book?
There is a two night minimum. There is a three night minimum required for holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day).
Can I bring my pet?
Yes. Pets must be on a leash or on a tie out at all times when not inside your camping unit. Pick up after your dog as well.
Pets are not allowed on the beach, however there is a spot by Site 319 where you can take your dog to go swimming. Please use the dock and steps. DO NOT WALK DOWN THE SHORELINE.
Do you have hot showers?
We do! They are $.50 for eight minutes.
Do you have boats to rent?
We have single and double kayaks as well as single and double Aquacycles. We rent out boats by the hour in the camp store.
We do not rent out any motor boats or pontoons.
Do you have cabins?
We have two deluxe cabins. The cabins have two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, living room, dining room and kitchenette. They have basic kitchen supplies included.
Can I bring a boat? Is there a place to tie up?
You can bring a boat. You can leave it on the trailer and we will show you a couple of places you can park it. There is no designated dock space for overnight campers.
Can I reserve a block of sites and have people call in payment?
We will hold sites for seven days, any sites without payment will open back up to online booking.
Do you allow ATV/UTV?
We do allow ATV/UTV's to be used on the surrounding country roads. We ask that the driver has a license and that it is only taken from your site to the trails. Anyone using the UTV/ATV around the campground will be asked to park it.
What kind of fish does Bear Lake have?
All species except for Muskie.
How big is Bear Lake?
It is 200 acres and 75 feet deep.
Are you on the Lake?
Yes, we are right on the lake.
When do you open? When do you close?
We open when the frost is out of the ground. With our larger trees it takes a little longer. The water is shut off on the third Monday in October, unless we get an early freeze. We keep the electric on all year.
Do you have online booking?
WE DO!! Look for the "Book A Site" button at the top of the home page.
Is there a boat launch on property?
There is not, however there is one close by. To access the boat launch, take the first three rights out of the campground.
Can we bring our own firewood?
Yes, as long as it is within a 20 mile radius.
Do you have wood for sale?
We do, we sell wood for $6 a bundle in the camp store.
